Tips for Recognizing Counterfeit and Shoddy Food

1. Look at the package

Check whether there are “three-without” (no factory name, factory address, production date) foods. Pay attention to whether the package is broken, inflated, and whether the label printing is blurred.

2. Check the date

Confirm the expiration date when purchasing food to avoid purchasing expired food.

3. Recognize the logo

Recognize the “SC” food production license number, be wary of cottage food (and well-known brand name harmonies, appearance and packaging “look” similar, but the price is low, poor quality food), shoddy food (substandard food, adulterated food), the source of the food is unknown (can not determine the source of production of food).

4. Smell

Do not eat the food if you find it has a rancid, musty or unusual pungent odor.

1. Choose regular channels
